Dukkah

This one's a flavour bomb
Dukkah is an Egyptian and middle eastern condiment made using ground nuts and spices. I bought it in the shop before and I liked it but after making it myself I absolutely love it. Homemade is always best.
You can dip bread into it or use it to sprinkle on anything: eggs, fish, meat, salads or vegetables. It will keep for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container.

Ingredients
50g almonds
50g pistachios
100g sesame seeds
2.5tsp fennel seeds
1.5tbsp coriander seeds
2tsp cumin
1.5tsp sea salt
1tsp cracked black pepper
Directions
-
Place of all of the ingredients into a dry pan and toast for about 5 minutes. Keep tossing the pan to prevent burning.
-
Once done remove from the heat and allow to cool. Then transfer to an airtight container.
